About Me

Well, first things first, my name is Sharon Worlund. I was born and raised in Pasco, WA, but I have lived in ID, ND, and spent a few months of my life living in AK. My husband and I have been married for 20+ years and have 3 kids that we're pretty proud of. I am an honest and straightforward person, and I love a good story. If you talk to any of my friends, they will tell you that I'm game to try any farming, hiking, or cooking adventure. I am also known to give unusual photo themed ideas a try. Here is a little photo journal of who I am.

Country Christian Girl

I am first and foremost a Christian. This doesn't mean that I will preach to you, but I am likely to say, "Thank the Lord for this beautiful weather", and really mean it. I'm a born and raised country girl, so, raise your eyebrows if you want, but don't be shocked at my cowgirl boots, jean skirts, and love of Carhart.

Baker

I love all things culinary: bread, cookies, pastries, mother sauces (starting point of all classical sauces), smoked meats, grilled vegetables, etc. I may or may not have baked cookies and bread on the grill.

How I express myself

Musician

My first hobby and love was definitely music. Music is my other outlet and way to express myself. I love sharing my love for music with my students, and teaching them how to speak through music is one of life's great joys.

Literature & Art Appreciator

Avid reader here, and I have often been inspired to do book or art themed photo shoots. Ask my family about our ongoing Christmas card themes. Don't be surprised if I recommend a book or quote a fictional character.

Sunrise & Sunset Chaser

I finally had to create a special photo file for these beauties. I will never cease to be amazed at the majesty and brilliance of these miracles of light and color.

Gardener

There is something to be said for getting out in the garden and seeing the miracle of growth that happens there. Gardening soothes my soul.

My crazy family

Wife, Mother, Homeschooler

My most important work is in these roles right here. As you can see, my family is just as quirky as I am, and I love them for that. I have homeschooled my three children from day one, and I have loved learning right alongside them.

Nature & Travel Lover

There's not much to add to this. If I could travel the world and capture all of God's creation, I would do it in a heartbeat!
